The Diversity in Computing Scholarship is a $250 scholarship given every semester, when applicable, that aims to promote learning about diversity, and to award students who show a commitment to the goal of diversity and inclusion here at K-State. Therefore, each semester, there will be multiple events students can attend such as the Diversity in Computing Book Club and Roundtable Talks; or, other events that encourage learning about diversity. For each event a student attends and participates in, they will recieve a point that counts toward the scholarship. At the end of every semester, the scholarship is then distributed to the students with the most participation points.
